Student Internships, Job Shadow and Mock Interview Matching -- With a username and password, students will have the ability to search and select available internships, job shadows and mock interviews. Internships can be on site or virtual, meaning transportation might not be necessary. The official approval is made between the school and business first. Once a preliminary approval is made, a student can contact the business for further information or necessary interviews.
Post Your Needs -- A school or business may need something that is unable to be accomplished through the current internship posting feature. As a result, we are providing a open posting system so that businesses and schools alike can see how they can meet each others specific needs that might not have been able to be met otherwise.
Online 3-Way Mentoring System -- Like in almost anything, when open communication is kept there are fewer surprises, conflict and failures. The 3-Way Mentoring System keeps the communication lines open and can be accessed anytime, anywhere. This online communication system will be available for the school administrator, internship supervisor and student or teacher to ensure a meaningful experience.
Online Resources -- Internship and workforce related resources are a must. As a result, resources will be provided for businesses, students and schools to assist them in their preparation and execution of a successful internship. In addition, career related resources will be available for students to further their search on how to obtain the skills and abilities to perform well in a 21st Century work environment, as well as explore various career and education paths.
Administration Pages -- Each user will have an account page that is customized to fit their level of account access.
Businesses will be able to post their business profile and internship, view filtered student information, journal with schools associated with their internship, assess the student intern, and track all active and completed internships.
Schools will be able to give students user access, approve student profiles, access to internship contact information and approve appropriate internship matches.
Students will be able to search, add to their favorites, update their profiles, journal with their school and track all active and completed internships.
