Currently one university and six Chester County high schools are participating in the Fall Beta program. Their charge is to give Gopher feedback and get rid of any grubs. While our Beta schools are working hard on their charge, the Chester County Economic Development Council's ITAG Strategic Directions Taskforce and three local chambers of commerce are digging hard to get all the business partners posting so that when Gopher is launched officially in January 2009, we have plenty of internship opportunities ready for your students to start searching and you can start approving quality matches.In the meantime, now is your opportunity to establish who you would like to be your high school, college or university administrator and email info@myinternshipgopher.com or call (484) 888-6191. In addition, you will want to gain further insight into the interactive functions and benefits of the Internship Management System and the expectations for each school, student and business. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, we recommend that you start promoting the launch of Gopher, assess who will be internship eligible and internship credit options.
